GIVING TUESDAY
Giving Tuesday is a day to inspire generosity around the world and for people everywhere to support the causes they believe in and the communities they care about.

This year we hope you will join us in supporting one (or more) of the over 500 children entering foster care in our area in 2026

THE CHALLENGE
Every year, hundreds of children enter the foster care system in OUR COMMUNITY, often with nothing more than the clothes on their backs. The transition can be traumatic, and the lack of basic necessities can exacerbate the emotional and psychological impact.

THE SOLUTION
Foster Pantry's mission is to ease the transitions of children in foster care, and the heart of our programming is our Foster Closet.
Your support will help us "Stuff the Foster Closet" with essential items like:
-
Clothing (all sizes, seasons, and genders)
-
Bedding (pillows, blankets, sheets)
-
Hygiene products (toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, shampoo)
-
Toys and books
-
School supplies
-
Gift Cards for teens to pick out an outfit or pair of shoes
-
& so much more!

HOW YOU CAN HELP
Your donation will help us to provide them with the essential needs and resources they need to succeed, that give them a sense of normalcy and restore dignity and self-esteem for these children during this time of transitions.
Here are just a few of the ways that your donation will make a difference:

-
$25 = NORMALCY providing new school supplies for a child to return to school with
-
$50 = DIGNITY provides a new pair of shoes to a child who has never had shoes that fit
-
$100 = CONFIDENCE by providing customized hair products and tools
-
$500 = HOPE by providing a Moving Forward Grant to support milestones for Aged Out Young Adults
-
$1000 = SECURITY by funding our Foster Closet Fund that ensures we have the items or can access the items a child in foster care needs

Please donate today and make a difference in the life of a child entering foster care.
