Caregiver Support Group ~ IEPs and Educational Resources

For all caregivers caring for foster children (foster & kinship), or who have adopted or have guardianship from foster care.

TOPIC: Educational Supports/IEPs/504 plans *all attendees will receive an IEP Binder* REGISTRATION REQUIRED! @ The Harrelson Center - Foster Pantry 20 North 4th Street - 4th Floor Conference Room

*Parking is available in the garage under the building (accessible from 4th street). A volunteer will be outside the Help Hub door on 4th street to let you in the building.

Caregiver Support groups are for any caregiver that is caring for a child currently in foster care or who has been in foster care. This includes licensed foster parents, kinship caregivers, adoptive parents, and/or guardians. We hope you use the support group as an opportunity to meet other caregivers, ask questions, hear relatable stories from other caregivers, offer advice and share resources that you have found useful, and enjoy a couple of hours of respite. While many of our support groups will be general support, we will be hosting topic specific support groups based on the questions you ask and resources we feel will be useful through your foster care journey. These topics will include topics such as Educational Supports, Special Needs Resources, Kinship Caregivers, etc.
